Thats top dollar for those IMO.
Not to say they are bad speakers or anything. Just what they fetch around here.
If I recall when I sold mine they went for around $200
I owned 2 pair and they actually have a pleasant sound to me. I bet with a quality dome
tweeter they could sound notably better.

I agree. I didn't pay much for mine and they were essentially in perfect shape. But I was happy to be rid of them based on the HF. There are folks who love the 420 woofer, so it's possible they would sound great with a smoother tweeter.
