Altec Santana IIs

If you can get them for a decent price ? They are however a decent sounding IMO entry level Altec speaker.Providing the drivers are in good shape and operating properly.The 420 bi-flex woofers are nice sounding woofers.
 
A couple of years ago, looking to replace my Infinity Qb, I've heard a pair of EXPENSIVE Altec Santana II (note the "II"). Nothing special, just a regular speaker (nice cabinets). The guy at the shop told me "they are expensive because they are "Santana II" ....

There is NOTHING to compare against a pair of Emit tweeters. If you usually listen to the Kappas, IMO, you'll be dissapointed for sure....
 
I thought that the Santana II had a regular woofer instead of the biflex and a CTS phenolic ring tweeter instead of the rather massive cast frame Altec cone tweeter?
