Pretty high for a table that is likely to break in transit. I suspect prices will go even higher up until the new year.

I thought it could be a local pickup. Shows how lost people are. And OM 10 Stylus is not bad. But the price is laughable.

Sorry. I think that's nuts. There are a couple others on that site that will sell for less. Much less. One reason I don't bother with Epay anymore. Anybody ever heard of local auctions? They still exist you know.

I'm thinking prices on nice equipment like this is rising because you just can't walk into any store any more and buy something of this quality...

You would have to pay 2 or 3 times as much to get anything near the quality.

I believe now that people are starting to get tired of disposable crap, people are willing to pay more than a lot of us were used to paying while all the BPC was all the rage..

I wished manufactures would see this, and start making quality stuff again at reasonable prices. It can be done, but I believe manufactures would rather make a butt load of money off 10 sales, then speard that profit over 100 sales.. I think manufacturer greed is starting to drive the prices up on used quality stuff, and it doesn't just apply to audio gear.. look at other older well made items on e-bay.. A lot of quality made stuff selling for a lot more than original new prices..

It is probably a good table and all, but finished in polyurethane , it would be going nowhere near my house, pretty much regardless of price, if it were up to me.

I can agree with some of what's stated. But the masses that shop in Big Box Retail Settings could care less. They don't have a clue. And that is who the largest number of buyers are. And have you ever tried to tell somebody what is good. They usually already know. When they wouldn't even know the difference between an Integrated, and Power Amplifier. I try to admit when I don't know something to see if I can learn something. Most folks have a problem with that. Why I don't know.
As for the Dual, they are nice Tables. But $300-400? You can buy many nice TT's for that price. All that for Quad? I could see maybe $150-200 in perfect condition, with all paperwork. Read the description on the first one I posted. Who ever bought that is lost.
