Hi Guys!!
I'm very interested in the Amacher Cork Mats out of Akron and wondered which one would be appropriate for my Thorens TD 147. Thanks in advance!! Cheers!!

I had one of their mats on a 166 which had a cutout for that inset 45 adapter. I sold the mat with the table when I moved up to a Jubilee 147. Since the factory 147 mat doesn't have that hole and is a bit thicker (I believe) than the standard 16X mats, I'm not sure they have a match.

Although being the nice guys from Akron (Canton guy here) that I'm sure they are, maybe they could do a thicker mat.

If I were looking for a mat I would try the one George Merrill sells through GEM Dandy. It is a combination cork/rubber mat that he feels isolates as well as his old lead mat did. George is known for offering wonderful products, so I wouls suspect its a good one. No its not a cheap one, but there are far more expensive mats out there.
