I'll be driving up to this record store in Hollywood tomorrow to purchase some vinyl. it's THEE Largest record store in the country!! I'm pretty excited!! Anyone else have any cool record stores they enjoy going to?

on Pico in Santa Monica doesn't have the selection of Ameoba but it's worth a drive from Ameoba. It has a very good Vinyl jazz and Classical selection and they are cheaper.

Excellent store, was on a trip to San Franciso not too long ago, and stopped by the Haight (very interesting area)...and made a stop at the amoeba record store. Blew my mind:yes: Great 'little' store, picked up a cd of the Black keys "rubber factory", would have gotten a lp, but didn't know how to transport on a plane. Wish we had spent more time in it, but we were doing a 2-day quick vacation, on account it was tacked onto my dad's buisness trip.

Enjoy the store, lots of atmosphere and great music.:thmbsp:

i really like rasputins here in the south bay in the city of campbell, it has a great selection and great prices too. i bought an oldies record there for 50 cents.
