Amplifier Noise Floor

If you plugged an 8 ohm speaker directly into a 120vac 15 amp rated wall socket, it could only deliver 1800 watts. Be a little skeptical of amplifier output claims.

Considering I'm not playing test tones at full volume, I'm sure I won't be pulling near to the breaker load. And our basement was recently redone with 20a breakers and outlets and 10g wire.
