An Integrated Amp recommendation for JBL L110

Hello,

A SHORT VERSION:
I am looking for a recommendation for a new integrated amplifier for JBL L110 speakers (8 ohm)
Budget: Hopefully below $1300 (USD)
Music: Symphonic, Operas (quite loud from time to time).
Room Size: 450 square feet (or 40 square meters)
Feature: I mostly connect to iPad with 3.5mm-RCA cable. DAC is not must, just no frill amp.

A LONG VERSION:
I recently have JBL L110 speakers/Marantz pm750 DC repaired after 30 years of disuse, They were my father's old audio system and I remember they sounded just fine some 30 years ago. Before the repair, JBL
was in a bad state and Marantz didn't work either. After the repair, the system still has intermittent issues: high-frequency hiss from the speakers and very low power from the right channel.

After fiddling, I suspect the issue is with Marantz since I experience the same problem with another pair of speakers. The repair tech is a quite refutable person locally (Seoul, Korea) and he suspects pm750 may not have enough WPC for L110. (pm750 spec sheet says 80 WPC, I thought that's plenty). Now I have a dilemma: wheater to fix Marantz pm750 for an extra cost, or to upgrade.

I am leaning toward upgrading as I always wanted a system that can handle a wide dynamic range when necessary.

80 watts should be enough - especially since it's okay on one side...
I would upgrade anyway, since you don't have to worry about recapping in the near future, if you didn't do it already, and worry about other parts going failing.

Perhaps to something like the Outlaw Audio RR2160 receiver.

Also, you might want to listen to power / pre amps of Sherwood Newcastle (made in Korea). They sound good and should be more affordable there...

Thanks for reply, I’ll check them out. I like 조수미, she is well known here even among non-classical fans as a dog-rescuer.
