That photo looks like it could have been taken years ago. The more things change......
I hope it sticks around, the store and the resurgence too. I was talking with Grant, the owner of Zulu Records, and an old friend of mine last week. He and I were in a store nearly empty of customers though full of vinyl on a Friday afternoon.
While records are coming back of course CDs have tanked as he said because of iTunes. He has replaced most of his racks of CDs with $1 bins for records. Of course he has many more racks full of records that sell for much more than a dollar but the amount of real estate devoted to bargain basement prices was sad.
That store is an institution in Vancouver. I wish it well
