There was a guy here with the moniker of 30hz magic. He liked Anime so I would wager he would understand your people. A few of my best buds in high school were furries so I already am familiar. Of course I was a good artist in those days so they would approach me to draw anthro scenarios which I did occasionally but it really wasn't my thing.

Now, these folks tended to have a 20$ htib setup, or no stereo at all, so you may well be the only audiofurry.

Also for all of you...

It's called a Fursuit. Basically a much higher quality version of a Mascot. You'd see several different ones. None are identical. That's because we have these REF sheets or characters of our own imagination called a Fursona. It's basically based off of us furries, only in an anthromorphic form. They come in several different animals, most commonly the Wolf, Fox (we call them Fembois), Husky, a special one: Protogen, and like 16 more of the most common types.

Yes I do have a Fursona. But since I can't draw, a friend on discord made it for me. Kudos to him!

I guess, but their parents hated them, so it was hard for me to laugh at any specific perversion they may have had.
I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but the great majority of them did have fractured family lives, some of their mothers and fathers loved their pet dogs and cats more than their own kids. Kinda depressed the heck out of me when I would go visit them.

I have a fursona, but I don't have a suit. 1. You have to be 18 to use a full suit (Because that's when you physically stop growing) and 2. They're very expensive. Upwards of >$2,000 to commission for one. Few have fursuits.

I have both. A very decent stereo (Sanyo SSV16 paired with Sherwood S-7900A) and TWO second hand HTiB systems. One's a Zenith and the other is a Yamaha. Both 5.1

(These are the fronts, surrounds are NS-AP5700BLS and Subwoofer is SW-P3600, missing center channel)

$8 for the Zenith (satellites + bass Module, No external amplifier) and $10 for the four Yamaha satellites. I paid $10 for the sub as well.

I'm only 14 but there's no way in hell that I'll look back again. It basically changed my life.

I meant laughing too hard to be involved as part of the spectacle if I were to "Put on the suit" so to speak

It's funny to me as a social concept in the same way "Swingers" are, in spite of the few sad examples that have boasted of the proclivity to engage in such (not certain I believed them anyways, but)|

I wouldn't worry too much. My furry friends ended up marrying nice girls with generously proportioned bosom, and they are still together after 10+ years so I guess in the end it all worked out.
