Not the countertop digital read out electric/electronic do-dad bread baking. The mix it up in a bowl, let the dough rise and stuff it in a Dutch oven and into a preheated oven baking. After getting a handle on my beef stew I've taken to trying my hand at Dutch oven bread baking. Goodness grief, so many variations on the basic recipe. Knead, no-knead. Artisan bread. Banana artisan bread. Sourdough. A little yeast, a bigger helping of yeast. Let the dough rise for an hour, for two hours, even up to ten hours. I made some yesterday but it turned out a bit doughy and I don't think the dough rose much. Not enough flour and yeast I guess. I measured out the dough instead of weighing it. Today's try, rising as I type, flour weighed out, 400 grams. One packet of yeast. Gotta go knead it again before the second rest. Then into the oven.
