Got my Linn AXIS back in service by fitting with an Origin Live motor/controller kit. No more buggy Axis P/S!! 
I would swap except we applied for a service dog to help my wife, and they could call anytime in the next year to
go to the mandatory 2 week training in Ohio -- so I best not tape swap at least until the training trip is behind me.

I've rotated in a few old favorite decks and have been experimenting with dbx equipment. It would be great to share some tapes if there is room in the next rotation.

FALL TAPE ROTATION ANNOUNCEMENT
OK all, I am ready to organize a new reel to reel tape swap rotation. For those unfamiliar, participants record a tape with music of their choosing , and send it to the address specified on the rotation list I will assemble, then the tapes continue to rotate every two weeks, so you get a tape, you have about 10 days to listen to it, and then you send that tape on to the next person. So you get to listen to every single person's tape in the rotation, and then eventually you get your tape back. Note that you will always be shipping to the same exact person - that's how the rotation works, it's like a circle
Tapes should be 7.5 IPS, 4-track, recorded both sides/directions, and 1800' 1 mil tape on 7" reels. Please do NOT use Dolby or DBX or any NR. It's highly advisable not to send either reels or a tape that you feel is irreplaceable since it's always possible that the PO will lose it or something, although typically these rotations have gone smoothly here. Tapes should be shipped priority mail, in a flat rate padded envelope, which costs $6.80 to ship. This does mean that you will incur about $50 total in shipping costs if you participate.
