Any songs with double bass?

Hi, I'm looking to add more songs to my mp3 collection. I particularly enjoy the use of double bass featured in the majority of my mp3 collection, so I'd like to find more songs featuring double bass.

I tend to listen to Country, Folk, Rock n' Roll, Rockabilly, Doo-Wop, Skiffle, Bluegrass, and Pop-esque genres from the 30's throughout the 60's.

I'm often picky about the tracks I choose as I have a taste for a particular execution of said track, often performed by a lesser known artist (which can be cheesy sometimes). So I'll list a wide selection that I occasionally listen to, to give you a better Idea of my taste.

On a different genre .... Try anything by Jacques Loussier. Gifted bassist on a 5 string double bass.

If you don't mind a little Hip Hop, try looking for tracks by A Tribe Called Quest. Their double bass sound started when they sampled the bass from "Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed. Subsequent tracks actually had real (not sampled) double bass.

I tend to limit my Hip Hop listening now to tracks and artists without too much profanity, N-word usage, or defilement of women. A Tribe Called Quest, I can pretty confidently give to a Christian friend of mine without causing any upset or offense.

A double bass on stage always brings great expectations to me. On Miserlou Dick Dale would be proud. Great showmanship.

It's not so much as the amount of bass I'm looking for, but the rhythm, the verse of the bass that is what I'm looking for.

Is that the same Danny Thompson who played in Pentangle? He was great in that band. I recommend ANY Pentangle album he played on.
