Anybody heard of these Goodman Speakers

For $40 they are certainly worth a listen. Goodman made excellent speakers, which were matched with great 50's and 60's systems.
My only concern would be why the seller thought they might be Goodman's. If his reason is sound, go for them. If not, it depends on how close you are.

They may or may not be Goodmans, and the drivers are not original.
Technically, that makes them "cabinets".

Cabinets look like Goodmans Magnums, but either I'm wrong or the grille cloth isn't original.
They should have a 12" woofer, 3" cast basket midrange and Philips AD0160 dome or Economax cone tweeter. However, the woofer doesn't look original...can't quite see, but that one looks like it's got an accordian surround (the original has a shiny inverted roll) and the cone colour is wrong. It may have had a later Goodmans Audiom pro woofer chucked in there, or it could be a completely random driver.
Either way, without knowing what the drivers are, I personally would walk away.
