No Affiliation. Saw these on CL and wondered if they are worth the asking price?

McIntosh MC 7270 and C34V worth this price?

It seems the pricing is a bit steep.
I use a C34V and it is a very nice preamp. I would probably rate it as worth ~ $900 for one that was checked out by someone knowledgeable, looks great, and is fully functional. I only know the amp by reputation, but can't see it going for more than $2,000, and probably a bit less than that. Being local and being in great cosmetic condition adds something. Coming from a shop that can provide some sort of guarantee might add more (depending upon their reputation). Still, I would think $3,000 for the pair would be more than fair.
