Anybody know what these are? Stitched woofers on a bookshelf?

Just bought these cheap because they looked to be decent quality. Oak veneer cabinets, decent weight and the stitched woofer surrounds intrigued me. She didn't know what brand they are and I have no idea? I haven't even listened to them yet.

I have nothing useful to add, except maybe to pop out one of the woofers and look for branding on it.

I’m sure I’ve seen that kind of stitching on woofers somewhere but, you know, my age… lol
Sorry I can’t help more.

Energy 22 Pro had stitched woofers indeed.

Have not come across this on another brand, so curious to learn what yours are Speakerdj. :)

The woofers do have a Wharfedale vibe to them, but the stitching is something I don't recognise from them.
The Robertson (square socket) bolts/screws are another interesting feature that I don't recognise. (Which might give soemone a hint?)

It wouldn't matter to me what they are until I've heard them. It might not be worth knowing. See if you can access the crossover. It might have some branding or a model number stamped on it.

@bowtie427ss - Do you know this for a fact or is that a guess? I ask because my internet research suggested Energy or possibly Mirage but I haven't been able to find these specific speakers or anything similar to their style. If you have knowledge of these speakers or their model line I would be very interested to hear it. Thanks.

Semi-educated, it's the one place where i can remember seeing the zig-zag or cross stitching.

There are some more modern subwoofers that are straight stitched, the brands escape me. I'm speaking of high excursion subwoofers with oversize surrounds. A bit different creature than you're trying to identify.

That indeed does look similar and the Robertson screws idea does point to a Canadian manufacturer. We might be getting it narrowed down now! Thanks!

Yeah, the stitching looks the same.
