I always thought the laser etched Split Enz album looked more interesting than colored vinyl.
Same for the numbered pressings of Jimi's Blues on blue vinyl ... of which I bought one new the week it came out.I don't care what color the LP is as long as it sounds good. And I haven't found any correlation between sound quality and the color of the vinyl.
I guess one difference I appreciate is that colored pressings often hold their value better. For instance, my clear blue Johnathan Bree - Sleepwalking LP has actually appreciated in value in the few years since it was released. The black LP has not.
It’s an open ended question on an Internet forum. Count yourself lucky it hasn’t devolved into a cleaning solution argument yet, or direct drive vs. belt...Hi
Anybody NOT like colored vinyl?
is the thread's tiles an inquiry
how did this manage to turn into a public relations campaign on "why I LOVE/LIKE colored vinyl?"
?

Idler wheel onlyWhich begs the question, does colored vinyl sound better on a direct drive or belt driven table?
