Anyone else had problems with Fedex

I have never had a problem with FedEx, and never recieved a package from them that was damaged. Can't say the same for UPS, they always seem to beat the crap out of everything they deliver.
 
Seriously, I stopped having problems with FedEx after I installed the driveway alarm, now they bring things to the front porch, just like UPS does. I figure that I would have a hard time explaining to a fellow AK member why his receiver got wet after standing out all night in the rain - no joke, it has happened. Or the time they left a pair of Advents sitting by the garage door with plastic bags pulled over them. That kept the rain off the tops but they were sitting right where the pipe from the gutters empties onto the driveway.

I used to have a regular driver with UPS who would always carry the heavy packages down to the shop, sadly he is no longer with them.
 
I have shipped hundreds of packages with FX in the last 9 months, both ground and express. I've only had one lost package and one damage claim in that time. The claim was paid in a very reasonable amount of time once I presented them with all the info they requested. Just call me a lucky SOB I guess.
