Anyone ever hear of the Wharfedale X60 speaker.

A pair is for sale on local CL but I can't seem to find any info on an X-series from Wharfedale.

Do you know anything about what the drivers are like or how they sound?

If they are w60 that is cheap. The drivers can be sold for a lot more than that. If the blue tweeters are mint they go for good money. I have a set of w60's and they sound fine with older amps.

Would expect that they are W60Ds as I've never heard of an X series. Is so for that price, it is 1 heck of a deal provided all the drivers are functioning. While Wharfedales are undervalued, these are underpriced. RS Minimus 7s typically go for not a whole lot less. Even a good steak or lobster is more expensive and the gratification of having the speakers will last long after the taste of the steak or lobster is a memory.
