What a great show! Best system I heard all day was the Audioquest room with the 800D3 running on a pair of MC611's. Even my wife was super impressed. They filled up a giant meeting room with pure sound. I have never heard anything like it.

I went there with my Grandson. I talked to a lot of folks at booths, but it was incredibly boring to my grandson. One thing I was able to demonstrate for him was the concept of "Audiophiles buy music that shows off their system, rather than because they like it." In each room I'd say, "Notice the music that is playing." It got to be a fun game. And, of course, some of those records were available for sale. He wondered who, outside of that event, would buy that crap. My response was, "Let me show you my collection of Sheffield records some day."

I really liked the bamboo equipment. I'm thinking of growing it commercially...
