Anyone have a McIntosh D150 w/ a remote (HR087) + Open Source Remote Library

I have a McIntosh D150 Digital Preamp/DAC, but it didn't come with the remote. I have given up on finding a used one at this point, and I cannot program a universal remote without the original to read the codes from.

Does anyone have a D150 / HR087 remote? I would pay to borrow it for a day, or would happily send my universal remote so the codes could be captured. I am planning to open source the remote codes for all the McIntosh remotes I can get my hands, so anyone can program a universal remote to control their McIntosh without needing the original remote.

If people are interested, I also may release an app that can be used with a cheap RF device, allowing anyone to use their phone to control their McIntosh Equipment with all the original buttons and layout.

You should be able to buy a new HR087 remote from McIntosh. Did you contact them?

I have both. The remote is nearly useless ...

FWIW, unless I missed the inclusion to smart phones, I was not ware that they were also provided with IR emitter sensor so that the IR only remote controlled preamp could be controlled via a smart phone ?!
But hey, I`m always open to being informed of changes, or advancements in technology.
