It is PL-7 turntable. I am interested in this headshell & cartridge combo.

Tough to tell, as one can't really see much on that pic. Maybe something like the Excel ME-75, maybe one of those newer Acutexes like for example the M412STR, I'd guess.

If it is indeed an Acutex LPM M412STR then it would be ideal, IMO. However, if it is perhaps a cart whose compliance is substantially lower than you would, of course, be correct Manfred.

Lini, is 100% correct.
As I mentioned, I am interested in this headshell & cartridge combo. It's hard to find those in a wild. It looks like the only way is to buy the whole table.
I already have PL-7 with XML MKII and want to play with different cartridges.
Unfortunately, the seller knows nothing about his cart.

The Tri-Poles are the sweet spot in the Acutex lineup. 312str,315str and 320str.

Good point. The M412STR is, like its 400-series siblings and unlike the 300 series, a non-tripole moving-magnet design. Vito: This doesn't mean it can't sound good to you. If you're seriously interested in the cartridge, I suggest asking the seller for a good photo of the bottom of the cartridge that shows the cantilever and suspension. That will also help confirm our identification.

That sounds like exactly the right thing to do. That is, it's what I would do. That said, the Pioneer PL-7 is a turntable worth pursuing, in my experience as an owner.

Here's another one to identify. It looks a bit like a Stanton 680/681 or Pickering XV-15, but it's not.
