Anyone using his/her speakers upside down?

I already was a big fan of Mission speakers that a lotta times feature an inverted woofer/tweeter positioning...
Now I noticed how much better my two-way B&W Matrix 1 sound if I put the speakers upside down.
More people doing this?

Only sucks that I cannot put the B&W logo on the baffle accordingly upside down...

I am actually, not that it matters much. My 901 are ceiling mounted upside down.

Sideways works well for my JBL L212 towers ... tho not having the factory B212 Bass module, the Volkswoofer worked well in its place.
Its my wife's 2nd favorite pair (The Von Schweikert VR-4s are her fav)

I have had a pair of 3 way tower design Bozak DMS5500 sitting up side down on shelfes about four feet off the floor, the base is about 4 inches from the ceiling. They sound fantastic that way for the last almost 20 years. The tweeters are like 3 feet above my head. No interference as the acoustic tile ceiling acts as an unobstructed floor They are about 10 feet apart and I sit back about 14 feet. I would suggest everyone try this with tower style speakers.

For best time alignment of the voice coils it depends on the speaker height and listening position, but it really boils down to your preference. Tweeter on top at ear height has always been my general preference, but my wife prefers the look of a lower profile with the tweeter on bottom on shorter stands. Here's an over-simplified illustration:

How about sideways? I use my main speakers sideways and the secondaries are end tables, in their proper orientation. When sitting on the couch, the sideways speakers are at ear level. At this time of year, one speaker is partially blocked by the Christmas tree. It's nice to be surrounded by music and happiness!

Setting two pairs up MTM style with the top pair upside down can work very well. I have good results with the speakers on there sides in 4 smaller tube systems I have setup around my bench. The tweeters are to the inside. With them to the outside there is a big hole in the imaging if I move my head away from the very center. I've run various speakers on there sides in my main syatem as well with tweeters to the inside.
I haven't ever had 2 pairs of the same speakers to stack them except or two pairs of Polk monitor 10's. But one pair is really ratty looking, so I haven't tried it. They're kind of tall also to be stacking.
