Apogee Centaur Minor

Thanks for all the feedback! So, I contacted Midwest Speaker Repair and did measurements but the rubber surrounds they have wouldn't work. I went with the link that Beatnik sent - it is in the Netherlands but had a response a few hours later to confirm my shipping address. Very good service and used Paypal - I think it was less that $25 for 2 surrounds shipped here. I will update when they arrive. I haven't even hooked the speakers up to anything yet so I have no clue what I have bought. :) Thanks again!

Just a follow up and a big thank you to Beatnik - I never would have thought to order from the NL but it turns out it was awesome. I paid $23 for 2 rubber surrounds, glue,
and shipping for them and they fit perfectly. I only replaced the damaged one as the other looked to be in good shape. Anyway, I have been enjoying the speakers more and more. This is my first ribbon tweeter experience and it seems it helps the sound come around you, not at you. I don't know if that makes sense, but it seems full. Upon further reading the consensus is the Apogee Minors are bass shy. Listening to Jazz a lot I am not sure I notice this, but others have since it seems Apogee had an option for a tuned port as a retrofit. Anyway, I can always turn up the subwoofers. Thanks for all your input!

...Apogee Minors are bass shy. ..

I know this is an old thread. But my experience is the Minor is not bass shy. Yes, the bass section of Minor necessitates special attention such as high current amp, thick speaker cables and good interconnects. Once I have done that the bass of Minor is no lacking. The sound stage is very solid.
