They were expensive, and tend to be somewhat rare in the US. Goldmund no longer has parts, but you can usually find somewhat reasonable replacement drivers. They are supposedly very fast, very efficient, and a bit lacking in base.

They certainly don't look like they have $10k of parts in them... unless that finish is black lacquered solid GOLD.
