That real wood veneer can be sanded back to better shape.
A bit of a hot clothes iron and a damp cotton tee and some of those dents will come out too.
 
I found one at a thrift for $20.Didn't quite work right so I sold for $35 on CL.It had no cabinet and a bent corner.Still... now could have fetched quite a bit more than $35.This was around 9 or 10 years ago.
 
Wow...haven't paid attention to prices on AR amps and receivers. 10 years ago, they sold for under $100.

If I remember correctly, they weren't all that highly regarded back when they hit the market.
 
Sold one in nice condition - untested for upwards of $1200 a year ago to a guy from South Korea
