AR XA Pivot Screws

Hi All,

I've recently inherited my Dad's AR XA TT (Serial # XA226308), which has been sitting in the original box for almost 30 years, and which I'd love to spend some time on getting running again. The issue appears to be that at some point in time, the two pointed pivot screws disappeared. I've read a series of other forums indicating that these are unique and difficult to find, but I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could try and locate replacements.

Any help would be appreciated.

I got my a$$ chewed out by AK for sending a guy a pivot screw. Apparently, it is against AK rules to solicit for parts. I suspect the thread will be shut down, and if not, then I may have to contact some powers to be.........

Asking for parts or bits and pieces is one thing.
Asking about a potential source shouldn't trigger a thread shutdown, IMHO.

Can't the pointed set screws sold by McMaster Carr work? These are set screws ground to a point, available in many thread sizes and lengths.
