Are these Altec speakers? - please help identify

I came across these speakers in my local online marketplace. They resemble altec lansing speakers but I am not sure. The seller does not know either. Would anybody be able to help identify?

Looks like it might say panasonic, don't believe it's an altec.

They were the Altec Phantom Series

There were no pics in the OP.

Once you see a National/Panasonic SB400/SB600 it becomes more evident how some folks might assume they were made by Altec.

Now, i'm just guessing and could certainly be wrong. But, i really don't see how anything else in the National/Panasonic line could be mistaken for an Altec product.

I can usually tell the brand and model when I’m blind folded... but I must at least hear them.
Can you give us any more clues?
