Are white van speaker builders using Revox as one of their names now???

honestly...that's a pretty slick design though for a white van. I dunno - weird to see a white van set with that many drivers as well.

Yeah but it looks nothing like any Revox design I've ever seen. I've also seen a lot of white van speakers with multiple drivers such as this.

Has Revox even made production speakers within the last 30 years???

Revox does make speakers now (when Harmon bought Studer, the Revox name was sold separately to a private interest).

I see decent stuff there, but nothing like the speakers shown (the white drivers are a ??). I'd ask the seller what the model is. Ought to be right on the box.
I wonder if the ones in the OP are a discontinued model?

The packing looks like polyethylene blocks, certainly not what white van speakers would be packed in.

I wonder... do they have the name right?

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see speakers with names like Rewox, Revoxx, Revoz, Bevox, etc... that might be done with fonts easily mistaken for "Revox". Chinese do stuff like that all the time (like those "Bolex" watches!).

It would be sad to see the actual Revox name re-sold and used for cheap junk this way. It has happened to far to many (most!) of the once-grand names in audio. :sigh:

Another possibility is someone putting up-market badges on cheap speakers. I saw a Nikko with a Pioneer badge on it, and a few other units like that where people had creatively "re-badged" their own gear.

I wish the pics were better as the finish/color on those looks identical to some of the products on the site EW posted as well as a few legit mains and subs that i've seen in various market places.

They look about right. If they're the real deal the Revox marketing department should be shot for failing at their job.

Actually, they do look similar to the Sound H model on the Revox site. Unfortunately, that site is so bad that you can't get anything from the product page.
