Really cool gear, I've always liked the look of the esotec stuff but never had a chance to hear any. I wish people that had such cool stuff would bother to take their own pictures of it..always makes me suspicious, especially when they go through the trouble of making a huge list of keywords like that.

I recently sold a few Esotecs, as part of "culling the herd." They are really NICE amps, but when storage room contracts but gear doesn't, something has to go. Still have a couple. Ironically, I think only the PM-4 is a definite "keeper", and it is the lowest-powered one of the bunch. It's just too pretty and too sweet-sounding (esp. when run in Class A mode) to part with. Also the Esotec-branded cassette deck will stay, simply because it seems ridiculously rare (I've only ever heard of one other, which was in Japan).

There is a shop here that has had an Esotec Turntable sitting in it for about two years. They say that it was SOLD, but the owner --who paid for it already-- has yet to pick it up and take it. You'd think someone buying something that expensive and rare and collectible would like to take possession of it a little faster... there are all kinds of people!

Given the apparent rarity of these, at least outside of Japan (and Hong Kong ), I'd expect those CL Esotecs to sell pretty quickly. Maybe an AKer will get them?
