Arkansas fall bbq time to plan

Hey all was thinking it was time to start planning a fall gathering. Thought by starting now we will have plenty of time to find a date that works for everyone. Any suggestions or ideas at this point?

Well I thought if we started a plan now we could work through dates and try to align with as many schedules as possible. I'll of course supply food and do the cooking. Sides / desserts are always welcome. Looking forward to hearing from more guys and visiting with you all

You know that I'll be there. Just need to request the day off when we can set a firm date. Not planning to bring anything at the moment since I'm not really working on anything good. Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Well looks like it may just be us three amigos that make the effort to set a date we agree on and try to move forward. I've sent messages to a handful of people and only replies are from Jeff and Luke. Carl will try to come I'm sure and I have a couple guys around here that will show. Working on a special guest. Some will guess who with my recent adventure with some klipsh. Hint hint. Lol anyway bump to the top for a few.

Well I would love for all our Arkansas AK peeps to come gather with us. But we shall have a great time with good food as always. I'd love for you guys to hear the magic that the modded hereseys and Norman model 10's make together what little bit that may be lacking from each is more than compensated for with the other. On the sansui 7070 or the kenwood 11G it's pretty amazing to my old wore out ears at least. Lol anyone have any suggestions on which Saturday may work best? I figure towards the end of September the weather should be better and gives some time for proper planning.

I will be gone on vacation from Sep 14-21 so please no fall AK fest in those dates .

The 28th is what I meant and the 21st is no good for Luke.

See this is why we start early so that issues like this are non-issues. lol I'm good for whatever Saturday works best for all. Just need a week or so for prep and planning on my end. Planning on rearranging the bar and the living room. Going to put 11G with the finished hereseys and hopefully some khorns in the L.R and the sansuis in music room with norms and hpm's with extra wires for who/what ever. Any suggestions on food? Smoked/grilled/homemade enchiladas (4 kinds)??

I'm going to take a week off before or after our gathering so I kind of need a definite commitment to a date. I can wait a week or so to see how things work out for everyone else though.

The 28th is fine with me. It looks like it's works for Luke and Jeff which I know will show for sure so without anymore input or opinions it seems that this is the day we should plan for. Ok so that's selltled. Lol anyone else have any comments or suggestions? I'd love to hear from some more of our Arkansas AK'ers
