Love to nab that 78. You always find the good stuff.

They're asking $2,500 for the Dragon...

Really tossing around the term vintage.
Especially the "vintage" mantle clock that uses WWV for accuracy....

$2,500 is a bargain based on recent eBay prices.

That Levinson No.23.5 is highly regarded and a big bucks item.
200Watts, around 100 pounds and $5900 new in the early 90’s.

Thanks! The sale ends at 3 today, maybe they will discount the gear.

Went to the sale. Unfortunately they had a guy working there who knew something about audio.

As previously mentioned, the prices were pretty much full retail. I was possibly interested in the Pioneer reel to reel, since my Revox has been giving me trouble. They had it marked $1000. I believe it was still there on the last day, so I called that afternoon, thinking if I could get it for half that, I probably would, but I didn't want to drive an hour to find it gone or not reduced. Left a voicemail. Lady called me back an hour later to say it was gone.

I will say that everything looked in amazing condition. He said it had all been in the original boxes and he pulled it out for the sale. The Thorens looked brand spanking new, and he said he didn't even wipe it down.
