Nice, that's what I got mine for. I do know that prices on Amazon tend to fluctuate. I just checked and it's still at 116 for me. So if you got yours for 89, you lucked out!Hmm. I just bought one using the link and got the 89.93 with shipping price.:scratch2:
I've been putting it off, but decided to go ahead and jumped on it just in case that price really is endangered. I'd done enough reading to know that I wanted to give the AT440MLA a try.
Awesome, glad to hear you got everything working. I've heard it only gets better after the break in period.I paid $89.93, including shipping. Installed it last night, sounds great.
The electronics expo sale is over... now listed at $116.90 + shipping
Thanks for playing!
Yes we have a few AT440ML cartridges in stock. It costs $179.95 + $17.00 S&H to Canada. The point is, why would I pay the extra 80 bucks unless it sounds better than the MLa which I doubt is the case according to testimonies and reviews I have read.
P.S: Nice find for $10 LAstplace
Cheers
Hmm, LPGear has these for $99 plus shipping, and i just came up with a spare $100. Should I buy the 440mla or upgrade my Grado green? If I choose the Grado route how far up the stylus chain can I go, red, silver? I'm currently running a AT12S shibata on my 1700mk1 which blows the Grado green away, atleast in my opinion.
How about your new Denon when it comes on Friday?I have the AT440MLa on the shelf here waiting for something to put it on.:scratch2:
Thanks,
John.![]()
