What did all the crud on these peices turn out to be?

I noticed the one on eBay hasn't been cleaned up? Is that just laziness or could it not be removed? Paint chipping?

regarding the one on auction, dunno if thats laziness or not, what i do know is statements like "ups will pack this" is a deal breaker for me.

additionally, "ups will call you to get your credit card number" nope, that ain happening either chief.

They were taking bids greater than 50% off original prices on sat afternoon. I offered the following:

MC275 $2,002
MC2505 $401 x 3
MC2105 $351
MA6900 offered asking price of 2,200

It would have been worth it to me to flip all pieces and get the MA6900 for free:yes:

In the conditions shown, that was plenty.
