Found this post while searching for the same info. Note this same guy has these extremely rare speakers also has them advertised in Providence, NH, Boston, and Hartford I think.

Even though Enjoythemusic did a piece on them they almost feel like a white van mystery to me. Heck the guy will even trade for a pair of Bose 901s or Klipsch because he's going a different direction. He doesn't know what direction it is but it's away from these speakers.

That would be more than enough to get me headed in the opposite direction right there.

If the guy doesn't like the Atlantis, and he does like Bose, that might be a good recommendation, from our perspective.

Kind of like getting to know a movie reviewer, and doing the opposite of what he recommends.

I was running that thought through my head but something just doesn't add up with the sale/trade Ernie.

im actually the person who posted them on craigslist..and no they are not white-van speakers..i actually got info from the person who wrote the review from enoythemusic.he said they are a hi-end company from france who made speakers from 2,200 to 14,000..he said that in the usa they are very very rare.and the only reason why i was willing to trade them for bose is because of the wife..yes i know bose blows..but none of those speakers will touch the atlantis..yes they will have more bass but the atlantis are not made for bass..as far as klipsch goes i was looking for a pair of the cf-2 or -3..yes the atlantis are better and by far the cleanest sounding speaker ive heard under 5,000 but i was looking for something with bass..yes i could always add a powered sub but i like to have just two speakers and thats it..i bought these on a whim a few yrs back when i first started getting into good audio and just wanted to see what other info people had on them.as far as i knew they were a good speaker and sound excellent but wasnt sure if they were ranked up with other hi-end brands up untill i wrote to enjoythemusic and got more info on them.

and there is also plenty of info from the company atlantis acoustique on the web.just not on the seolane speakers.and just to clear it up i loveeee the sound of these speakers but the wifes father had a pr of 901s when she was growing up and wanted a speaker she listened to growing up.but i talked her out of that crap.and i find myself getting bored with my equipment.i sold my b&w 802d just because i wanted different speakers and it wasnt even an upgrade. these atlantis have to really be heard to be believed.

Well therein lies the problem with selling speakers that have no following, there is scant demand. People will be hard pressed to spend significant money for something unknown, even if they're great. Frankly, it would be like selling a great homemade speaker.
To sell these you'll likely need to give them away (IMHO).
Good luck.

This is an older post but I feel some closure is necessary.
I purchased the Seolanes from M5, they replaced a set of Meadowlark Kestrels (my third pair). They also outshone my Vandersteens so I sold those, too.
The musical presentation of these speakers has never left me wanting for more. I'm a little taken aback by the nay-sayers who have not heard of these speakers - there are literally hundreds and hundreds of superb audio manufacturers whom none of us are familiar with. Apparently that's cause enough consider them low quality or worthless.
That makes me happy because I take chances and reap great rewards from the ignorance of others.

Canadian-made. That's a plus right there. Made in Quebec, home of Totem. Another positive sign. Look good, reviews seem very good.

They were distributed by a Quebec company but as far as I know they weren't made here but in France.
A friend of mine just picked up a pair of their Esterel and yesterday we compared them to a set of Kudos X2 which people seem to be pretty excited about. These totally blew those suckers out of the water. Slightly more forward presentation but way more open and with incredibly complete timbre on guitars and pianos. They get the tone surprisingly right. I understand the Seolene is a slightly lower end model from the Esterel so it may or may not have the same characteristics, but i imagine the voicing is in the same ballpark. I like it.
