I'm going to ask the seller if they have a pinout/datasheet for each of the transistors to confirm I've got the pinout correct.

Just look them up on the Internet? - type the full type number in the search box and hit <return> - select 'datasheet' from the displayed choices - Done.

A common pinout situation that often catches people out is B and E reversed (with collector in the centre) - meaning that the 'D' shape of the transistor faces the opposite way round compared to the original (old type) transistor.

I might try taking the transistors out and seeing if the problem remains.

Remove the transistors and test them, including the output transistors - from the faulty channel, or rather, the channel which worked before - and now doesn't.

Test the channels one at a time from now on, do you have a DBT ? - if so, use it!
