B&W CM (original) 3 speaker setup with stands in maple

Hi all,

First post, long time lurker.

I picked up this set of speakers the other day off of CL. It's in gorgeous condition considering the age. From a smoke free home of an elderly audiophile.

They are the discontinued CM2 bookshelf speakers and a CM C Centre, all in maple. It also included the FS-700 stands, which are very impressive. The stands have some oxidation on the cast iron base, but I'll be cleaning it up this week.

The original CM series seem all over the map price wise.

There are some CM2s currently on ebay for $400 and local pickup, but they are in the more common rosewood color.

The CMC Centre sells for between $200 (seems like that was a poorly done listing) to $500. Again, I cannot find a single maple color speaker for sale, only piano black and rosewood.

I know the stands are worth about $400.

Usually CM2 were used as surround speaker. To have a full set, you now need to watch for pair of CM8 to serve as fronts.
