B&W DM11 speaker connections

So I just bought a pair of B&W DM 11's as part of a lot of electronics. I went to hook them up and there are just a pair of metal holes in the back. As in holes and no spring clips, binding posts or other obvious means of securing speaker wire I can see. The holes aren't tapped so it doesn't appear anything is missing. Is this some wacky connection style B&W experimented with in the 80's? Is there some obscure jack or connector I need to track down?

Looks like banana plugs should work (I personally use these)

and right you guys are. First time bumping into a pair of banana only speakers. Sound pretty nice.
