BA 5000 resistors on F-2518 board

I am confused about two of the resistors on this board.

Attaching 2 photos, 1 is from my system (on the right) and the other I found in another thread.

R27 and R28

The SM calls for a 560k ohm 1/2 watt resistor for both. My board has a 560 in both locations. OK, I am assuming that the SM has a misprint and I'll replace them with a 560 ohm (one is fried). I am planning to use a metal film resistor, unless someone says that is not a good idea.....

Then, I'm reading an old thread and run across this picture which shows the 2 different resistors in those locations. The one on the left (R28) looks like a 560 ohm (identical to mine) while the one on the right looks different. It's hard to make out the bands (maybe blue,gray, brown??) either way, they look like different values.

Different versions of the board? (only thing I can see is TM01 on both)

Now I'm really confused...

is 560Ω, at least is the value on the schematic, and the 3 units that I've seen.
Always go with what you have on your board.

Just to help corroborate, these 1/2W resistors are 560Ω, as seen here:



Apologies for the lousy enlargement. As seems to often be the case with errors in Sansui service manuals, the component listings for the individual boards will be the data that is incorrect, while the schematic itself will reflect the proper value.
