Baddest mostly real bad guys in movies & TV.

Rosey Grier playing modern day bounty hunter 'Salathiel Harms' in TV series 'Kojak' - not the 'baddest' exactly, but a wonderful name for a baddie. :)

To my way of thinking, there's a new "bad guy" on the block...that new antagonist, is Negan. Ever notice even his name reversed is almost the same? By accident? I think not.

This evil dude seems to relish what he is about to do, allowing both the victim and the audience to squirm lots of time BEFORE he does it. Usually, he follows through with his twisted intent, or follows a path that parallels his physcopathic desires...smiling the whole while. The producers have done a great job creating hatred for this villain.

Negan is the epitimy of "bad".

Q

1. Denzel, in "Man On Fire"
2. Denzel again, in "The Equalizer"....he went through those Russians like **** through a goose....
3. Bruce Willis, in "The Jackal"
4. Stallone, as "Rambo" (the first one)
5. Bruce Lee, still THE BEST !

Henry Fonda in "Once Upon a Time in the West" (1968) directed by Sergio Leone.
Hell of an actor ... for someone who usually played the hero to do such bang up job
of playing a bad guy. He made you hate him in this movie.

There wasn't any human that could beat Bruce Lee, in movies or real life.

Benicio Del Toro in Sicario is the baddest bad guy I've seen in anything in a long while.
Maybe not the baddest, but the meanest one that pops into my head is Gene Hackman's Little Bill Daggett in The Unforgiven.
Gary Oldman as Stansfield in Leon: The Professional was a very, very nasty man.
Lest we not forget Woody Harrelson in Natural Born Killers.
Going back a ways James Remar as Ganz in 48 Hours left a lasting impression.
Last one and at least as off beat in his MO as Anton would be Stunt Man Mike as played by Kurt Russel in Death Proof.

Keyser Söze from the Usual Suspects.
Yes to Benecio in Sicario, one very pissed off lawyer who was just as relentless as Anton Chigurh.
Ed Harris in Westworld is up there in my books as well.
Iwan Rheon's portrayal of Ramsay Bolton in Game of Thrones was good too.

Robert Mitchum in "Night of the Hunter" as Reverend Harry Powell and in "Cape Fear" as Max Cady.

Richard Widmark as Tommy Udo in "Kiss of Death".

I believe that was Widmark's first role too...

Maybe more crazy than bad, but John Malkovich and Christopher Walken played some nasty dudes too. Malkovich in "The Messenger" and "In the Line of Fire" and Walken in "Things to do in Denver when you are dead" and "True Romance"

And of course Sir Laurence Olivier as Szell in "Marathon Man'

Is it safe?...
