Great system!! ... Wear earplugs... lol :rflmao:
I do or I use thx mode it’s easier on the ears , I might but my klh in basement system .Might try this slim sub in My bedroom , to aid my big stereo integrity.
Once I can clean it , I’d sell it but it’s probably not worth much on Facebook market or anything. RCA version of the Dayton slim subwoofer.
How do you clean nastey grime off plastic I used Murphy oil soap on the wood part .
Puny little sub but I’ll test it out , I know the stereo integrity is powerful enough in its own but why not test the little baby subwoofer out ?

Do you have a saw? Do you have a "board"? Put the two together... it's relatively easy! Pics now, Mister!!

:needpics:
Yeah I’ll have to saw my own board sometimes .
Downstairs small tv room set up !!!
I still have to add the amplifier but it’s a work in progress .

I had to use slim speakers so my mom won’t cry over the ugliest things ever .

Sounds clear bass not overpowering the other room .
I my add a center channel as this receiver can run pro logic 1. Not sure if it’s will sound better or not .[

Making a thing to set the receiver on soon , and . Center channel might not help until I get another klipsch.
Heavy built little avr for a ancient thing , powerful bass I had to use normal groove, not the highest setting v- groove it’s a form of loudness . I’ve yet too see one of these for sale anywhere , any tips advice ?
These little avr were more bang / buck then today’s soundbars . There extinct though , modern receiver are far superior .
It’s plenty good enough, I have bass toned down a lot .
Light years better then dreaded tv speakers.
My klipsch are way better then the original speakers , much clearer : balanced no plastic ! Junk.

Congrats on your bedroom being fully stocked.
let me guess: you're not married and under 25 years old?
Have fun!
I’m 28 but your spot on , no wife would allow such a system In a bedroom .
This is the best mini shelf system amplifier I have ever heard.

I’ve yet to find the ultra high end Phillips Magnovox console there was one on par with mine . It had a amplifier output on back which mine does not .

Probably be better off buying another onkyo 818 or its newer version imo . Better then any shelf system .

I could not fit a bigger amp here without removing everything from Tv stand .
I would run a center but wouldn’t it need to be klipsch icon or synergy? My only klipsch Is in bedroom .

It might sound clearer when I just run the two klipsch.
The micro speakers not enough spl , I do not have a wireless adapter. My mom would dislike running cords to there proper location .
Ahh I need to turn treble down, during college football ear piercing highs .

I had to turn mid up and treble down , the klipsch can be so loud .
Any placement tips , what do I little surrounds do? Should I farce them to the wall for reflecting ?

Until I can afford a center of sameness brand it’s better of stereo mode .

Excellent little Sony stereo for tv , sports , I bet movies too that don’t look good on my newer tv.

It sounds better without the highest bass boost I leave it on groove . Not V- groove, that’s for music.

I have the smallest Denon they make for video on my 65 inch Samsung. It has a PS3 and a PS4 connected to it. It does the job for a bedroom home theater TV system. A mix of Sony Tower Speakers and Polk Audio Speakers for back front and center 5-1 system. My real pride and joy is my Hitachi SR 2004 Series, at 200 watts per channel. 2 reel to reel tape decks, 2 ONKYO TA-2055 cassette decks, a CD changer, an audio expander. All driven by Polk audio speakers including a massive sub woofer.

Some small or low end consoles have impressive sound quality , except the few low low end Yamahas I bought and returned to hhgreg.
More pictures added a center channel for pro logic or sounds real clear I cannot find the original Sony speakers in my garage .

I’ll keep an eye out for a cheap small klipsch center , could This receiver power a klipsch icon center ?
I’ll add if this center Is annoying or good later on . Bass Is good enough set up isn’t needing a subwoofer so far.

How do you clean this stain off the speaker grille mesh? Grille is non removable.:jump::lurk:
Success so far .

Center channel might be to low actually.
My rca subwoofer needs removed From my bedroom systems and moved to here but it’s jammed in there so. I’ve gotta move everything to get it out .

It sounds clearer without this center channel it may be too different or too low end . R.I.P.
I’ll test it out a Few day so and see .
I’ll get you model # I think the center Is not efficient enough to work with klipsch.

Center needs volume of 17 of 31-32 or max to sound clear . Ehhh power hog .

I calibrated the tv been in box for a few months.
Very clear for a ancient Sony 40” lcd.
Notre dame vs Louisville NCAAF game . Looks epic

I might try a different center speaker or go back to the RCA . This sony one is too small and not loud enough .

Nice I fit a lot of speakers and 15” sub in my bedroom system. My mom is always crying about me having too many speaker and taking over her downstairs with my much smaller Sony speakers.
Sound nice loads of bass similar to floor-standers. My towers in my bedroom are still superior to this shelf system . I cannot afford a budget amp for downstairs .
Baby sub is downstairs now I’m not sure woofer size. 6-8”?

Until I move out I’m limited . On space no way to wall mount surrounds sure my mom won’t allow the wires ... so there on top of fronts .
Pro logic 1 isn’t advanced.
