Beefed up speaker stands

I have a pair of inexpensive speaker stands that needed a bigger base to set my speakers on, so I did my own mods on them.

Used vinyl veneer coated mdf and attached cork board cushion on each shelf.
Attached shelving to each stand with 4 stainless steel screws. Much better base for the speakers now.

I still have a pair of Super Tweeters, first run Japanese ones, in stupendous shape. Purists may scoff, but I'm not letting them go, cause I like the way classical sounds with them.
