Belated Gang-Twanger RIP

Hello,
It was confirmed that resident Wharfedale-o-phile @Gang-Twanger passed away in 2016. I couldn't find an RIP thread...many did not know he passed, just thought he was away for awhile. Just thought we should have an official RIP thread if there is not one already. He sure inspired me to want to hear some W90's!

"Also, I see a lot of people had been asking about gangtwanger, and I would like to clear that up, unfortunately he passed away back in 2016, his obituary was online. I only know since I had talked to him in the past and know him by name. His knowledge and passion for vintage wharfedales will be missed here. Hopefully this group can take up the torch!"

I was afraid of this since no one had heard back from him.

Derek was a very nice guy and never caused any trouble on the forum.
He was a true gentleman.

I hope he didn't suffer since I don't know the cause of his death.

Oh, so sad to hear this. He was a lovely soul with a passion for audio and music. We had met back in 2013 over Fisher tube equipment, shared some time discussing audio gear and enjoyed a little listening. He eagerly shared his audio interests and experiences here on AK.

My condolences to the family. May he rest sweetly in peace.

This is devastating news. I always wondered what happened to him. What a shame. His passion for music and audio was infectious. Does anybody know what happened?

Rest In Peace, Derek...

Well, damn. I had been wondering for some time. Here was a guy who was a fine ambassador for his beloved Wharfedales and a gentleman to boot.

My most sincere condolences to his family.
