As per the title I have a beogram 6000 which previously did not have enough power to lower the solenoid. It did try but it would require help from me in order to actually finish going down. I read on a forum that it could have to do with the 1c23 capacitor or the arm circuit transistor. I ordered a replacement transistor (tip 41-> tip125 which look like drop in replacements when looking at the datasheets) and I replaced the capacitor with a 22 uf 65v electrolytic capacitor. When I first tried it the solenoid started to oscillate in the resting position trying to get the arm to move down. When the micro switch was pressed the solenoid stayed up. I assume that in the resting position the arm should move up, and the arm staying up when the micro switch is pressed seems to be wrong as well. Currently the solenoid does not move but instead one specific component gets really hot. I think it is some sort of capacitor which also looks like it has previously already been replaced but I am not sure. Help would be appreciated.
