Best-Looking Knobs

I think we would all agree that the lowly knob, and switch cover for that matter, is a key part of the vintage audio experience-physically and aesthetically.

I recently had the need to acquire some knobs for a Pioneer SX-780 receiver and have concluded that these are probably the coolest-looking knobs IMHO. The muted flats and flared base is a beautiful design. I also like the Sansui 9090-style with their excellent - knurled “grippiness”.

Your thoughts?

I had a Kenny KR-8010 with that style knob back in the day. I'd rank them #1.

The volume knobs on (at least some of) the JVC A-X series are a neat design but a poor execution.

Instead of the traditional writing "-infinity;" to "0" in an arc on the faceplate around the knob, like a lot of other models, they just put a single mark above the knob and put the numbers on the edge of the knob itself.

Unfortunately, they are victims of the same issues with some of their other contemporary gear-- the lettering comes off if you look at it funny. I need to prepare a decal or something for mine.
