Best Looking Motorcycle - 70's

Snade

humble AK member
This was my first bike - 1976 Honda CB400F in red with black side covers. I bought it new in college in 1976 and later sold it to fund a car.

Found one recently (totally restored) for sale at a small motorcycle service shop in Palm Beach County, FL. Not buying it, but I'm very tempted.

I still think it is the most beautiful bike I have owned or seen.

Cheers,

My first bike as well . I bought mine from a friend who totaled it . He bought it back from the insurance co for $75 . Sold it to me . There was one locally that I was tempted to buy. I would like to have another inline 4 cyl. preferably 900 -1000 cc.

sKiZo- Thank goodness it didn't completely do you in. Heather- I almost bought an aftermarket Vetter clone kit for my '79 Bonnie, saw a few at the bike meets.

It tried ... here it is a couple days after the last pic posted.

PS ... let's be careful out there. Spring is here, bikes are out, and so are the crazy cagers!

I have had this bike since 1983. It's a 1973 BMW R75/5 (short wheelbase).
The tear in the seat cover is yet to self-heal.
It still runs fine.
This picture is from the early 90s.
I don't know that it's the prettiest bike of its day, but pretty is as pretty does.
