Love this Triumph ad, and the dig against Honda.

I love both the Triumph and Honda motorcycles of the 60's and 70's, by the way, and owned a huge collection of vintage Hondas at one time....

Nope, still alive and doing very well. Hoping they come out with a new Trophy soon so someone can take the depreciation hit and I can have one in oh...about 10 years or so.

My '99 Trophy 1200 just turned 29,000 miles. Sounds like a Farmall at idle but runs like a scalded dog when asked to do so. :yes:

Triumph guy here. Owned 76 750 Bonniville, sold to buy a car. Shortly after that, purchased 79 750 bonni. I wanted to add a Norton Commando to the group. Just did not happen. Still think about getting the 850 newer Bonni. Just a thought though. I liked em' couple pain in the as... things about them but nice riders. :thmbsp:

Indeed Triumph Motorcycles were fine, but Lucas too often spoil the fun. I can't own one because I have one thing Lucas too many, my joints (Big Grins)
