Big noreaster today blizzard conditions great day for a indoor project

South Louisiana. My lawn has some brown patches. It is cold though. Last couple of nights it’s been around high 20’s to 30F highs in the 50’a. Tomorrow should warm up to upper 60’s. We should stay warmer most of next week, but lots of rain. 2 inches of snow on the ground here causes about as much havoc as this storm in the northeast.

Lol. I'm only 20 minutes north of the OP and tore down a Dynaco Mark IV today. I also used the vinegar and foil method to remove pitting on the chassis.

Looking good OP!

Snow? Whats snow? 74 here today.

Did finish up a week long project of digitizing my cd collection of about a thousand discs to lossless files. Now I just have to decide if I'll store them or let them go. Mostly jazz albums (80%?) with quiet a few blue note releases. Next I need to make a couple backup copies. Good thing I have a few terabyte drives.

^ I'm hearing there is some frigid temps on the back end of this storm having just gone through a few days of single digits close to zero I feel your pain

We didn't get much snow here but it was (and currently is) in the single digits. My wife and I are leaving this nonsense behind and moving to Belize.

I'm to the polishing stages now , it's a fine line trying to polish out the pitting without removing to much of the plating , had to go out in the storm to get more polishing wheels for the Dremel it's snowing pretty good

Nice clean up and looking good.

It's not perfect by any means , and if I wanted it to be I'd obviously replace the chassis

But I'm happy with how it came out ,I think it's a decent all original ST70 what hurts the most is that to get the correct OO double getters to replace the 1 bad el34 and the bad rectifier tube is gonna set me back more than I have into the whole rig ,oh well that's stereos

Our latest Covid scare is just starting to peak so I have been a hermit for the last month and been listening to a lot of music. My two favorite foot ball teams are out so I am not watching the play-offs either.

I'm in Hampton beach NH and couldn't tell ya what we got the winds off the ocean are blowing it all around here I'm hearing in town there's 6 to 8 already
Which Atmos did you get? I’m in the market. cheers!
Used to live in NH. Remember the chest high snow we woke up to.
