Binge watching music documentaries this weekend.

This Ain't No Mouse Music is another good music documentary, and is available as streaming content on Netflix.

Just saw this puppy. If you like ALL kinds of roots music this will be a treat. Don't miss it if you can!

Keep On Keepin on - a must for any jazz lover, touching documentary about Clark Terry's last few months.
Hail Hail Rock and Roll - Chuck berry & Keith along with Clapton, Robert Cray, etc.
The TAMI show - the first rock and roll mega concert - Stones, James Brown, Marvin Gay, etc. James Brown's best performance ever.
Buena Vista Social Club - the real deal for Cuban Music
Our Latin Thing- 1970's Spanish Harlem music scene

I've seen a lot of these, some great recommendations. I particularly enjoyed the docs on Big Star and Clark Terry. I missed Muscle Shoals the last time it was on PBS and definitely have to catch up on that one.

I'll throw a few more out, though some may be esoteric and probably not for everyone, depending on your taste of music. Being from Metro Detroit, gotta throw out "A Band called Death" and of course "Searching For Sugar man". I also loved the Roky Erickson doc "You're Gonna Miss Me" , "Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten", "The Devil and Daniel Johnston" and "Be Here To Love Me: A Film About Townes Van Zandt".

Been itching to finally see "The Damned - Don't You Wish That We Were Dead" about one of my all-time favorite punk bands (finally available on DVD!).
