.....hold your pointer on your handle in the top line of the page....a smaller window appears and you click on "Personal Details"....(top left)....scroll down to your birthday....if you want to be eligible for a happy birthday thread, you have to choose the first box which will show the month and day of your birth....the second box showing the year of your birth is optional, but you have to have the first box clicked showing month and day.....

+1 I'll miss him a lot.
John even him posting this thread is kinda funny, Ronnie instructing how to do something in your profile. He was a bit lost on a computer and how to navigate the site. He had me set up his avatar and signature, if you notice it's layout is like mine. I always loved the tapping foot old man as did Ronnie, so I also made sure I got that in some how.

"....Chris, I'm going to have a back surgery this coming Wednesday, the 10th, and I'll be in the hospital for 2-3 following the surgery....would you handle the birthday threads here at AK for hopefully just a few days after I get back from hospital....there hasn't been many lately, but I tend to cut it off at 1000 posts....when no one has 1000, I use someone with 8 or 9 hundred posts, but usually don't go lower than that.... you could do it however you felt led...."

We lost a real good one, ladies and gentlemen.

I wonder if it was complications from his back surgery?

Gonna miss ya, Ronnie. You kept the place fun.

I am doing Ronnie's job for one year now. The poor feedback of the members getting a birthday thread is still very frustrating. So I would like to announce that I am looking for somebody who is carrying on this tradition (and does not get frustrated). There is no hurry, I will most likely carry on until next March. But then we need somebody else.
