I can say, after using just my MacBook Pro Retina onboard DAC and streaming Tidal to my Pioneer SX-3900 and HPM-100 speakers, the Chromecast Audio’s DAC with high dynamic range enabled sounds noticeably more airey with clearer separation. I’m super excited to hear the Topping D30 now.
